Indian Ocean at a glance

  • Mauritius lies to the east of Madagascar, in the southern part of the Indian Ocean. It has a year-round subtropical climate and is popular for honeymoons. The east coast is home to beautiful beachfront hotels whilst the west claims calmer waters for snorkelling and swimming.

  • Southwest of Mauritius and to the east of Madagascar lies the remote island of La Reunion. The island is home to volcanic cliffs, pretty coastal towns, an active volcano and crater-villages. There is so much to see and explore!
