There are plenty of flight options to Mauritius all year round from a variety of different carriers. The island of Mauritius and its neighbour island, Reunion, is serviced very will with some direct flight options as well as stopovers along the way.
Mauritius offers a tropical climate all year round and is a ideal destination for an all year round stay, whether you enjoy winter sun, a relaxing summer holiday or a more adventurous stay by venturing inland where you will discover virgin tropical rainforests, cascading waterfalls, botanical gardens and steep-rising lush mountains.
The island of Mauritius is 61km long and at it’s widest point is approximately 46km wide. There is a central plateau (600m above sea level) and the coastline is entirely protected by coral reefs. There are plenty of mountains in a broken ring of mountain ranges encircling a flat area which slopes in the North to the South-west. There are shallow lagoons, rich with white coral sand beaches and dunes, rivers and streams which flow between land created by new and old lava flows and a 2 natural lakes formed within volcanic craters.
