If you want to visit all three of what some would call the best countries in the aurora belt in Europe, experience great Scandinavian hospitality and take part in some of the best winter and northern lights activities all in one trip, then this tour is for you! A 10 day tour taking in Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish Lapland with a highly experienced aurora guide guarantees a sense of adventure but still with all the creature comforts you would expect on a luxury holiday.


Grand Aurora

Starting in Tromso in Northern Norway you will spend 3 nights in 4 star hotel Clarion, The Edge in a beautiful Junior Suite. The hotel is within walking distance of the museums, bars and restaurants. On your way from Tromso to Sweden you will stop for 1 night in Narvik, a beautifully quaint Northern Norwegian town offering stunning views of the fjords. Taking what is reputed to be one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world onto Sweden you will arrive in the area of Bjorkliden and Abisko which is widely becoming known as one of the best places to see the Aurora in the world and spend 3 nights here. Your final 2 nights will be spent in the wilderness of Kilpisjarvi in Northern Finland. You will then spend one final night in the Tromso area before your flight home.

The Clarion Hotel The Edge opened in May 2014 and this world-class hotel in central Tromsø hotel is located with amazing fjord-side views adjacent to the harbour. Contemporary furnishings are featured in all rooms at The Edge, as well as a large flat-screen TV and a comfortable seating area in your Junior Suite.

In this wilderness destination choose from hotel rooms, small cabins or large deluxe cabins. Self-catering, bed and breakfast, half board and full board options are all available.

Tromso, Norway

Reindeer sledding under the Aurora - a relaxing and traditional mode of transport and an enjoyable way to lay back and enjoy the Northern Lights. Also on this tour you will be taught all about the traditions and culture of the sami people and finish your evening with a traditional ‘joik’!

Guided City Walk - on this city walk learn about life in the Arctic and the history of Tromso. End with a tour around the amazing Polaria museum.

Northern Lights Dinner Cruise - Set sail from Tromso harbour on your private luxury catamaran and enjoy a delicious locally caught fish dinner as you head out on the water into the darkness for a great chance to see the Aurora. You can even lie on the netting at the front of the boat and watch the skies above you as you sail through the fjords.

Five course supper at Fiskekompaniet - to celebrate your last evening enjoy a delicious five course supper with matching wines in one of the best restaurants in the Arctic.

Narvik, Norway

Lights at the Lodge – Head up high into the mountains by cable car to a lodge which is spectacularly located for amazing views over the city and the fjords below. Indulge in some traditional Norwegian food and enjoy the Norwegian hospitality on this unique and very special Aurora hunt!


Kilpisjarvi, Finland

Northern Lights Tour - in a snowmobile-pulled sled journey to a place of complete darkness to enjoy the Aurora at its very best.

Reindeer and Culture Tour - reindeer herding is very important in Finland. On this tour you will get to join in with this tradition and culture by meeting with the reindeer herders and the reindeer and helping to feed them.

Lappish Kota Evening - enjoy dinner cooked over the fire in a traditional wooden kota. Your guide will keep an eye out for the Aurora.

Bjorkliden and Abisko, Sweden

Taste the Arctic Evening – An incredibly unique experience where you will be guided through the Arctic by tastes. Your host this evening is also an experienced chef and will show you how to prepare some of the Arctic’s most iconic dishes and each course is accompanied by stories of the area. End the evening with an Aurora hunt under the dark night sky of Arctic Sweden.

Arctic Dog Sledding - sitting back in a large sled enjoy the thrill of a dogsled tour through the national park.

Aurora Sky Station Exclusive Dinner - prepare to be lifted into complete darkness at the world famous Aurora Sky Station. A great place to enjoy the aurora as well as the delicious 4 course exclusive supper.

Arctic Experience Day - led by an extremely experienced Arctic guide enjoy learning about life in the Arctic and enjoy some of the amazing everyday activites which the local enjoy such as snowmobiling, ice fishing, ice climbing and fika (snack and coffee) around the fire.

ICEHOTEL - You will have the chance to stop at this amazing hotel made of ice to visit the ice rooms, church, bar and restaurants. To finish your experience here you will take your very own privately chartered helicopter across the border to Finland!
