After a warm sauna to warm you through and a delicious breakfast it’s time to check out and head outside where a team of huskies are ready and waiting to transfer you to your next accommodation. With your luggage on a separate sled you will set off with the eager huskies pulling you through the snow. Turn a corner on the frozen lake and in the distance you will see a secluded set of cabins aglow with candles and a burning outdoor firepit. On arrival you will be greeted by your hosts with a welcome drink before you are shown to the Master Cabin An irresistable sauna and outdoor hot tub await you, both overlooking the lake, to help you relax before dinner served to you in the main lodge by your private chef. If the lights are out your guides will alert you to come out and witness the Aurora overhead.
Day 3
Wilderness Day
Breakfast is served in the main lodge by your chef before you meet with your guide today to learn more in-depth about husky sledding and mushing before hitting the trails once more driving your own team towards a remote wilderness hut. Enjoy an alfresco lunch over open fire before returning back to the lodge. This evening some delicious hors d’oeuvres await you along with your outdoor hot tub. As soon as you feel ready, your chef will prepare your dinner. You could choose to dine in your cabin for a more intimate setting.

This afternoon you will, after thorough instruction, hop aboard a snowmobile to head to an amazing indigenous Sami camp. Here you will meet a Sami family and learn about the culture of Lapland’s fascinating reindeer herders. Catch reindeer with a lasso, feed them, try reindeer sledding and share a traditional Sami lunch in a Goahti tent before heading back to the lodge for the evening.
