Cahkal Hotel is an authentic, beautiful hotel, located in Kilpisjärvi, one of the northernmost villages in Finnish Lapland. Combining modern design and Northern hospitality, our rooms take you one step closer to nature. There are 23 rooms; five different room types and all rooms have exquisite fell and mountain views. The tall windows let you feel the surrounding nature pouring into your room; The backyard of the hotel opens up to an astonishing Arctic scenery of wilderness and the Cahkal River flows nearby, bringing pure water from the fells down to the valley. It is possible to stay in a room as part of the hotel or Cahkal is also available for exclusive buyout if you have a larger group wanting the ultimate private escape.
All rooms are equipped with drying cabinets, hair dryers and free Wi-Fi. To maximise comfort, the rooms also have blackout curtains, air conditioning and soundproofing acoustics to minimise external sounds. The restaurant, Aika Kitchen & Bar, serves delicacies from the surrounding nature and Arctic Ocean. The floor-to-ceiling windows let you admire the surrounding nature from the break of dawn till the slowly fading light of dusk. There is also a huge wealth of activities and experiences on offer in this area and you will never be short of things to do. In the quieter moments however there is the sauna; which will offer total relaxation too.
