Kilpisjarvi Wilderness Experience 3 Night Trip

Depending on your flight arrival time you may wish to spend your first night in Tromso; the “Paris of the North”. If so, you will check into your harbourside hotel before enjoying dinner in the city. If you arrive during the earlier part of the day then you can take your stunning transfer from Northern Norway to Kilpisjarvi (approx 2.5 hours) in Finnish Lapland. Check-in and relax for the evening at leisure but remember to keep your eyes peeled for the Aurora overhead!

If you stayed in Tromso you will check out this morning and transfer to Kilpisjarvi. If you are already in situ then enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast in the restaurant. Spend the day at leisure exploring the area; you could head out for a walk or why not hire the sauna and jacuzzi area for a couple of hours to yourselves? Tonight you will head out with your guide on a snowmobile to your very own wilderness camp! A cabin on skis that have been pulled into the perfect location for the Aurora, you can spend the night here gazing at the stars.

After breakfast in your cabin alone, your guide will return to collect you. A quick refresh and then you will head out to the cross-border point where Norway, Sweden and Finland all meet by snowmobile!

Tonight, for your final evening you will spend a night in the brand new and very beautiful ‘Wau Haus’ with its beautiful big glass roof and hopefully spot the Northern Lights overhead!
