The city centre is set back from a wide glittering river, and is majestically overlooked by the remains of the castle walls of Castelo de Sao Jorge. Among the steep cobbled streets, you’ll find a wealth of fantastic restaurants, cafe’s, and bars, along with the cultural hubs of the churches, art galleries and museums. Catch a tram from the city and head to Belém to explore Jerónimos monastery, Belém Tower, and the fascinating Discoveries Monument. Or head in the opposite direction from the city by train and find yourself in the picturesque heart of Sintra; a USESCO world heritage site dotted with grand palaces and regal mansions. There is so much to see and do in Lisbon, so take a few days and truly lose yourself in this historical capital!

Lisbon is serviced by regular international flights, with several US and UK flights per day. From the airport, it is just a short 20 minute taxi journey to reach the many hotels and apartments in the city. Public transport in the city is reliable, inexpensive, and very easy to use – this is the best option for getting around the city, and visiting other districts such as Sintra and Belém.
Located in the Mediterranean, Lisbon enjoys long warm summers with very little rainfall, and winters are very mild. Average temperatures in Summer are 25℃, with highs of 29℃, while average Winter temperatures sit at approximately 12℃, dropping occasionally to lows of 8℃. This mild climate makes Lisbon a fantastic city break all year round!
