Finally, cross into Norway for two serene nights in a glass-roofed igloo cabin, perfect for stargazing or watching the aurora from your bed. Day 1

Arrival into Finland

Arrive in Rovaniemi Airport and take a guided transfer through the frozen landscape to the Arctic Snow Hotel. Check-in and enjoy dinner at the Kota Restaurant this evening. One of the specialities is the smoked salmon cooked over the huge open fire in the centre of the restaurant. Why not book some time in the outdoor hot tub or snow sauna this evening?

Day 2

Explore

After breakfast in the restaurant, spend the morning snowshoeing with your guide. Enjoy a beautiful walk around the surrounding area on shoes that don’t let you sink into the snow! This evening you will have dinner at the Ice Restaurant!

Day 3

Sleeping on Ice

Check out this morning and take your private transfer to the ICEHOTEL. This beautiful journey is through Finnish Lapland and across the border into Swedish Lapland and you will get to see how the landscape changes between the two areas. On arrival into Kiruna you will check into the ICEHOTEL; the original ice structure which inspired many others. Enjoy dinner in the restaurant and spend the night in a sub-zero room designed by local artists around the Nordic region.

Day 4

Ice Sculpting

After a warm shower and hot lingonberry juice, you can spend the morning learning how to ice sculpt and enjoy a guided tour around the hotel. Relax this the evening in your warm room after a 5-course dinner in the Ice Restaurant. The menu is full of local and delicious produce served on a variety of exciting iceware!

Day 5

Head to Norway

Check out this morning and take your transfer from Kiruna to Alta. This is approximately a 6 hour journey by road (you could alternatively take a flight stopping via Stockholm & Oslo) but the scenery is unmatched. You will get plenty of stops to allow for rest breaks and photo opportunities! Your transfer will also be able to tell you lots about the area as you travel from Swedish Lapland to Northern Norway. On arrival, check in to your Suite before spending the night cuddled in a sleeping bag on top of the reindeer fur.

Day 6

Reindeer Sledding

After breakfast enjoy a leisurely day exploring the hotel. This evening, enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride to hunt for the Northern Lights and a delicious 3-course dinner in the evening in the restaurant with it’s huge central fireplace.
