This expertly curated journey through Sweden blends cosmopolitan culture with deep Arctic immersion. Beginning in Stockholm, guests explore the elegant capital with private guiding, historic neighbourhoods and time to discover its food and design scene. An overnight train then carries travellers beyond the Arctic Circle into Swedish Lapland, where landscapes become wilder and traditions older.

The journey offers rare insight into Sámi culture through private guiding, storytelling and shared meals, alongside gentle hikes, wildlife encounters and Autumn Northern Lights opportunities. Guests travel through Abisko National Park, explore Norwegian fjords with a professional photographer and relax in handpicked wilderness lodges and cabins.

The final days are spent at the secluded Arctic Retreat, surrounded by forest, rivers and autumn colours, with time for slow living, outdoor experiences and seasonal cuisine. This is a journey designed for travellers seeking authenticity, comfort and meaningful connection with nature and culture in Northern Sweden.

This itinerary balances guided exploration with time to unwind. Guests enjoy private cultural tours in Stockholm before travelling north by overnight train. In Lapland, activities focus on nature, culture and wellbeing, including hiking through birch forests, fjord exploration with wildlife photography, and learning directly from Sámi guides and storytellers.

Northern Lights viewing opportunities are woven throughout the journey. Time at this secluded Arctic Retreat allows for sauna rituals, lake swimming, forest walks and seasonal cuisine, creating a deeply restorative and immersive Nordic experience.
