There are lots of exciting experiences to immerse yourself in when it comes to visiting Swedish Lapland. With this suggested itinerary you’ll find yourself high up in the Arctic Circle and learning about local Sami survival skills, searching for the aurora, and spending some time at Camp Ripan before heading to the famous Icehotel to spend a night in one of its Art Suites.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Arrive into the quirky Arctic city of Kiruna and settle into your cosy chalet at Camp Ripan. Keep an eye on the skies for your first glimpse of the flickering Aurora!

There are plenty of activities to take part in during your stay – our Nordic Experience Curators have put together some suggestions on this trip for you but there are plenty of others to choose from and change too.

Day 2

Sami Experience

Today you’ll immerse yourself in the Sami Survival skills. In the evening, pay a visit to the rejuvenating Aurora Spa and learn the traditional Sauna Ritual the Swedish way!

Day 3

Check into the ICEHOTEL

Meet the Arctic’s most iconic creature – the Reindeer! Learn all about their important role in the harsh Arctic climate. Afterwards, you’ll take a transfer to the village of Jukkasjarvi – home to the world famous ICEHOTEL! Here, you’ll spend a night sleeping sub-zero in your very own uniquely designed Art Suite!
