Day by Day Itinerary
Day 2
Guided City Walk and Fish Market
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, afterwards there will be a Art Nouveau Guided City Walk, the afternoon is free for you to wander around the cafes and bars around the harbour, or wander around the famous Fish market, in the evening there is a 3-course dinner at the Sjobua Restaurant (exc drinks)
Day 3
Scenic Drive and Fjordside Sauna
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, check out from Hotel Brosundet and your private transfer will take you to the Hotel Union Oye, the 2.5 hour journey is beautiful as you drive past stunning landscapes and beautiful mountains. In the afternoon there is a guided hike in the area, with time for a fjordside sauna. Dinner in the evening is in the Historic Dining Room (exc drinks)
Day 4
Fjord Adventure to Hjørundfjord in the Sunnmøre Alps
After your buffet breakfast, you are free this morning to relax or take a walk around the area, flanked with nature and fjords. In the afternoon, there is a Fjord adventure to Hjørundfjord in the Sunnmøre Alps and a stop at Trandal for a snack or ice cream – You will then take the boat back to Union Oye and Dinner will be in the conservatory (exc drinks)
Day 5
Wine Tasting in Vineyard, Waterfall Hike
After a delicious Breakfast you will be taken by car to a local Vineyard, then on to a Private Waterfall Hike at Turlidfossen, Dinner will be in the conservatory (exc drinks)
Day 6
Gourmet Picnic, Hote Tub and Sauna
Breakfast will start you for the day with a trip to Borgund and Laerdal with a gourmet picnic, on the way back there is time to relax in a private hot tub and sauna on return, and Dinner will be in the restaurant that evening.
Day 7
Flamsbana Railway and Cornelius Seafood Restaurant
Today after breakfast you will take a private transfer to Flåm to take a train famous Flåmsbana Railway (take the earliest train), your luggage will be transferred separately, then you will take a train back to Bergen for a private transfer to your final hotel stay at the fabulous historic Opus XVI hotel. You have the afternoon to explore the city before a short boat transfer from the harbour to the famous Cornelius Seafood Restaurant, there you will experience their meteorological menu and enjoy locally caught seafood with a fabulous view of the fjords from the restaurant, before returning back to the harbour at sunset.
Day 8
Return flights home
After a hearty breakfast you will check out from Opus XVI and enjoy a private transfer back to Bergen airport for your return flights home.
