Day 1

Dinner by the riverside

Arrive into Lulea and meet your driver for a guided transfer into the forests – home to the incredible Treehotel. Check into your first room in the pines – “The Dragonfly.” This elevated Experience spacious serenity at The Dragonfly, an ideal setting for a private getaway. Its rustic brown hue allows it to blend seamlessly with the pine-filled landscape. Large panoramic windows frame the river valley, creating a stunning backdrop for your stay. This evening you will enjoy nature’s best with an outdoor dinner by the riverside.

Day 2

Reindeer and Sami experience

Welcome to Sweden! Today you will learn all about the rich heritage of the Sami culture when you meet Lars Errikson, one of the last remaining forest Samis. Listen to storytelling and meet the reindeer that wander the farm! This evening enjoy a meal inspired by traditional Sami delicacies before a night in the cosy “Blue Cone.” Step into the tranquil embrace of The Blue Cone, where tradition and simplicity reign. Wake up to a spectacular view at your feet, with a reflective mirror amplifying the beauty. Relax by the large window and soak in the serene surroundings. The room also features a sleeping loft with two single beds.

Day 3

Unique gastronomy experience

Today the theme is “out of this world” as you ascend into your third room – the UFO. Encounter the unexpected in the heart of the forest – hovering amongst the trees. Small windows illuminate your surroundings, and you’ll feel the gentle sway as it’s suspended among the trees. An otherworldly experience awaits, just outside your window.

This evening, you will enjoy a unique gastronomy experience and stargazing evening with your expert guide. Learn the basics of night photography and if you are lucky, capture the magical Northern Lights in the night sky!

Day 4

Explore the small village of Harads

Meet your local guide and set off on a walking tour around the small village of Harads. You will learn about local life, history and culture and be invited home to sample traditional Swedish fika! This evening, enjoy a three course authentic meal and reflect on a day of Swedish culture as you move into your 4th room – the “Mirrorcube.” Encircled by mirror walls that not only reflect but seamlessly blend with the lush surroundings, Mirrorcube offers a unique retreat for two. Beyond the mirrored facade lies a secret balcony, inviting you to step outside and savour the treetop views discreetly. Dive into a world where reality and illusion harmonise, making your stay truly magical.

Day 5

Relax at the forest spa

Awake to the sound of birdsong in the treetops and enjoy the view from above! Spend today at the forest spa, where you will have private use of the Tree Sauna and Jacuzzi. Try local snacks and beverages and relax as you enjoy a classic Swedish massage. After a three course dinner with select wine pairings at the guesthouse, climb up to your 5th room – the camouflaged “Birdsnest.”, where the exterior transforms into a gigantic bird’s nest, camouflaging you seamlessly with the surroundings. It’s a haven for introspection, allowing you to become one with nature. Find solace in the unexpected and let the forest embrace you in this truly unique accommodation in the forest.

Day 6

Campfire dinner

Today you will be woodland wanderers as you join your guide for forest hike. Keep watch for local wildlife, discover the beautiful nature and forage for berries which you can enjoy with coffee around the campfire or savour later on in a dish prepared by the chef. This evening, settle into your 6th room – “The Cabin” and enjoy the sparkling Arctic skies from the rooftop terrace. Perched high on a sharp hillside overlooking the Luleå River valley. Accessible via a horizontal bridge among the trees, it boasts a spacious wooden deck and a breathtaking view. Surrender to the allure of nature as you create lasting memories in this romantic retreat.

Day 7

White water rapids!

Prepare to be wowed on you final day as you visit the stately Storforsen, one of the highest unrestricted white water rapids in Europe! This evening, you will enjoy a very special seven course dinner made with local ingredients, inspired by each room and presented by the head chef. Your last night is in the exclusive 7th room where you will experience unique luxury as you spend a final night under the stars! The largest treehouse offering two bedrooms and a lounge area. With a transparent floor providing a view 10 meters below and a transparent railing revealing the vast Lule River Valley, it’s an awe-inspiring experience. Cosy up by the fireplace and soak in the beauty of the forests on chilly nights.

Departure
