Overview

Howling at the moon

The Wolf Lodge at Polar Park is one of Northern Norway’s most exclusive overnight stays. With only a few stays available each year availability is tight but the stay here is well worth it. A secluded luxury lodge offering complete privacy set in the heart of the world’s northernmost wildlife park you will witness spectacular landscape and rare Arctic animals. There are 3 ensuite bedrooms, a beautiful lounge with panoramic windows overlooking the wolf enclosure and a kitchen where your private chef will prepare your meals. The Wolf Lodge is offered on a minimum 2-night stay and there are a wide range of activities as part of your all-inclusive stay. The itinerary below is just an example of the type of experience we can help you build as a standalone trip or as part of a larger itinerary.

Your Trip, Your Way

This itinerary is just a starting point—a flavour of what’s possible. Whether you want to tweak the pace, upgrade your hotel, or deepen the culinary immersion, we’ll design your perfect trip from scratch.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival into Narvik

On arrival into Narvik Airport you will be met by your private chauffeur who will transport you through the beautiful landscape of Northern Norway to Polar Park. On arrival you will check into the Wolf Lodge and meet your host and guide who will take you through the rules of the park and staying within the lodge inside the wolf enclosure.

Depending on your arrival time you will be able to take part in some privately guided activities before heading into the enclosure to listen to the wolves howl! Afterwards, enjoy a delicious dinner prepared for you by your private chef according to your tastes and spend the evening relaxing in the beautiful lodge.

Day 2

Explore the area

Wake to a chef-prepared breakfast this morning and dine whilst looking out over the park and the beautiful landscape. This morning you can head out with your guide for exclusive park access and enjoy several animal encounters such as with the lynx or the wolves themselves.

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to partake in a wide range of activities and experiences, all on a private basis with your guide. There are a number of year-round activities such as sami cultural visits, zipline adventures, scenic train rides, fjord cruises and more. If travelling in the winter you could opt for spotting the Northern Lights, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog sledding or whale watching; and if travelling in the summer months you could head out hiking, canoeing or on a Midnight Sun adventure.

This evening enjoy a delicious dinner in the luxury lodge whilst taking in the breathtaking views.

Day 3

Your final day

After breakfast, spend the last morning in the park with your animal guide and perhaps do some photography of the animals up close.

Depending on your departure time from the airport – or whether you are continuing your journey elsewhere – you may have time for more activities in or around the Park itself.
