This trip was inspired by the HBO Series Succession and focuses on an experience to one of the famous Roy family might experience. In fact, at the beginning of the second season, Iceland was briefly featured including the property we have included here – The Retreat.

Day by Day Itinerary
Welcome to The Retreat
You will be met by a member of staff at the arrivals gate at Keflavik airport – they will Fast Track through passport control and onto pick up your baggage. Once in arrivals you will meet your private driver guide who will take you to your private transfer, and they will drive you to your accommodation, The Retreat, which will be home for the next 3 nights. Here you will be staying in their stunning Lagoon Suite – you can spend the rest of the day enjoying the private access you have to the Blue Lagon and facilities onsite.
A day to relax at The Retreat
You’ll spend the day relaxing in The Retreat’s facilities, with options to go out for a hike or even play some golf – in the evening you will have the opportunity to visit The Retreat’s wine cellar – a subterranean sanctuary three metres deep into the earth. You’ll get to do some caviar tasting with Presige Cuvee!
Following this experience you will then indulge in a 7-course dinner, with wine pairing, at the Moss Restaurant.
Time for some adventure
After breakfast, you will be collected and taken to your private helicopter which will be your mode of transport for the day. First of all, you will be flown over the Glacier Lagoon, Jokulsarlon, which sits further east and is a very popular spot to visit. Along the way, you will witness the volcanoes, glacial rivers, and waterfalls before getting to explore the diamond beach on foot.
A brief stop for refuelling will be made where you can enjoy some refreshments at a highland hotel – then you will head back to base, making sure to take in the views of Lanmannalaugar, Thorsmork, and Eyjafjallajokull.
Today you will check out and be taken back to Keflavik airport with your private transfer, at the airport you will be met by a member of staff to escort you through the airport.
Your journey doesn’t have to finish here though – there are plenty of other incredible locations to visit and experience in Iceland. Just speak to our Adventure Artist who will be able to assist you in adding in some further luxury experiences and places to visit.
