A secluded gem
A stay at this beautiful lodge in Tromso, Norway, includes all the comforts you could possibly want to include (but not exclusive); a personal host and barista available 24/7, a private chef to prepare and deliver fully catered meals throughout your stay, the use of high quality winter clothing and boots and much more. For the children (or adults!) there is also the use of snowshoes and kicksleds for exploring at leisure and there is a whole host of amazing activities included in your trip. This itinerary has been designed for a family or group of 4 people however of course our Nordic Experience Curators would be happy to help you if your requirements are different. Not only do you get to stay in this beautiful lodge, but you also get to spend the night in a stunning igloo-esque dome near a glacier!

Day 1

Winter exploration
This morning, a beautiful group of huskies will be waiting for you right outside the front door! Set off with your guide and learn how to mush your very own team into the wilderness as you guide them through the snowy landscape. Stop for a hot drink and snack before returning to the lodge for lunch. After dinner this evening, you will meet the ‘Aurora Professor’! Here to take you on a thrilling trip to learn about and hunt for the Aurora and astronomy. An incredible evening!
Day 3
Celebrations
After a delicious breakfast in the dining area overlooking the mountains this morning you will head out with your guide on a snowshoe adventure into the surrounding area. Here you will be taught survival skills for living in the Arctic such as building bonfires and staying warm in the snow. You will enjoy some tasty snacks over your bonfire before returning to the lodge. Tonight, for your final evening in the lodge, you will enjoy an amazing 5-course celebration dinner with wine accompaniment before heading to the ‘top’ – a stunning viewpoint perfect for catching the Aurora if it is visible. At the viewpoint an open fire will be waiting for you with a glass of champagne and fireworks to really end your stay at the villa in style.
Day 4
A night on the Glacier
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before you will take a transfer by helicopter to Isbreen glacier where you will check into your beautiful panoramic domes overlooking the glacier itself. Spend some time exploring the area before enjoying a delicious dinner prepared for you by your hosts. Tonight, you will experience a private Northern Lights tour to see if you can spot the Aurora one last time in this beautiful location.
Day 5
Departure
Check out this morning and return to Tromso Airport by helicopter taking in the breathtaking views as you go.
