Stay nestled in stunning Seydisfjordur at Hotel Aldan's historic properties
Hotel Aldan is found in the beautiful location of Seydisfjordur in East Iceland, over 100 years ago the property was once a bank but now it is an accommodation that is made up of three other buildings. There is Hotel Snæfell which was the old post office and built back in 1908. Then you have The Old School, which used to be Seydisfjördur’s school – so when it comes to staying here you are not just discovering this beautiful location but also getting to stay in a little bit of history.
It is also worth noting that there are two fantastic restaurants to discover when staying here – there is Aldan Restaurant and then Norð Austur Sushi & Bar which are well worth a visit!
