Food and Drink

Italian Riviera

The Italian Riviera stretches across the region of Liguria from Ventimiglia on the French boarder to Portovennere in the east. Genoa, Italy’s main commercial port, is at the centre and the area is speckled with mountain villages, beaches, hotels, beautiful views and Italian culture. The region is home to Sanremo – city of flowers, Cinque Terre – walking paradise, and traditional coastal villages. There are outstanding views for all who visit and there are great train and boat connections.


Capital of Italy’s automobile and design industry, there are more than forty museums in Turin. The Egyptian Museum, in the Palazzo dell’Accademia delle Scienze, is the second largest in the world. Turin is also renowned for its coffee and chocolate and a museum devoted to the latter will soon open.
