Arrive in Alta where you’ll be greeted by a friendly face, and taken by private taxi to your central hotel. Your first evening has been left free for you to settle into your new surroundings, so take a wander into town, or take a short hike to a viewpoint to be welcomed by breathtaking views! We can recommend our favourite restaurants for dinner, for your first taste of delicious Norwegian cuisine.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be met by a local guide who will take you on a guided tour of Alta to see the fascinating sights, After this, take a private transfer out into the wilderness and check into Trasti and Trine’s Lodge. You’ll be welcomed by the friendly barks of huskies! Enjoy a delicious two course lunch, and spend the afternoon meeting the dogs! This evening you’ll enjoy a three course dinner, in the Sami Gamme! After dinner, you’ll set out accompanied by your trusty pack of huskies, to the summit of Pæskanasen where you’ll be rewarded with incredible views beneath the Midnight Sun!

You’ll be picked up from the lodge this morning, when you’ll join your expert wilderness guide on a canoe adventure through the Alta Canyon! It’s Northern Europe’s largest canyon, and very few people have the opportunity to journey to the middle of it! You’ll enjoy a unique overnight camping experience on the riverside, to really immerse yourself in the nature of this incredible landscape.

Wake up to a delicious breakfast prepared over the fire, and continue your adventure through the canyon. When your explorations conclude, you’ll make the journey back to Trasti and Trine’s Lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure. This evening you’ll enjoy an incredible four course fine dining experience.

Today you’ll check out of the Lodge and take a private tour to North Cape – Europe’s Northernmost point! Here, your guide will take you on a fascinating bird safari from the tiny fishing village of Gjesvaer, where you’ll jump aboard a boat and head out into nature! You’ll spend the night in Honningsvåg, and we can recommend fantastic restaurants for dinner this evening.

Jump aboard a RIB boat for a unique adventure in search of King Crab in the stunning Porsangen Fjord! You’ll learn all the tips and tricks to catch these prized crustaceans which form a huge part of the local culture. Take the journey back to a delightful waterside location, where you’ll learn how the crabs are prepared and dressed for eating, and then it’s lunch time! King Crab of course!

Check out of your hotel this morning and take your private transfer back to Alta airport for your return flight home, or continue your adventure…
