Discover the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art at Øresund Sound
Ask anyone from Copenhagen about some of their favourite museums and more often than not you’ll hear Louisiana Museum of Modern Art mentioned, however, it isn’t in Copenhagen. You’ll find the museum on a half-hour train journey north out of the city at Øresund Sound and many of the locals like to head up to the museum to take in the stunning scenery from the building along with the exhibitions and art work on display.
You will also discover 45 sculptures in their sculpture park which is a beautiful spot to walk around on a sunny day.
There are over 4000 pieces of work that are rotated around in various ways – its focus predominantly on painting and sculpture.
